Die amerikanische Sopranistin Meredith Wohlgemuth studierte darstellende Kunst und Gesang an der Juilliard School in New York.
Zahlreiche Preise bei renommierten Gesangswettbewerben zeugen von ihrem großen Talent: Im April 2023 gewann sie die Metropolitan Opera Eric and Dominique Laffont Competition und im September 2023 gewann sie den ersten Preis beim Internationalen Schubert-Wettbewerb Dortmund. 2022 gewann sie erste Preise beim Concours Musical International de Montréal und bei der New York Sullivan Foundation.
Auf Opernbühnen in den USA stand Meredith Wohlgemuth bereits als Ilia in Mozarts Idomeneo, Despina in Mozarts Così fan tutte, Titania in Ein Sommernachtstraum, Nerone in Monteverdis L'incoronazione di Poppea, Annina in Verdis La Traviata und A Girl/Francisca in Bernsteins West Side Story. Im Jahr 2022 sang sie eine Hauptrolle in der US-Premiere von Lessons in Love and Violence von George Benjamin, und im Januar 2022 gab Meredith ihr Debüt in der Carnegie Hall als Mitglied von Renée Flemings SongStudio.
Zuletzt lebte und arbeitete sie in New York und war dort unter anderem Konzertsolistin beim Cecilia Chorus in der Carnegie Hall.
Seit der Spielzeit 2023/24 ist Meredith Wohlgemuth Ensemblemitglied der Staatsoper Hannover.
