Overview
Marco Goecke shares this evening of ballet with the choreographer-duo Paul Lightfoot & Sol Léon and with Jiří Kylián, who all had great influence on him when he was a young choreographer. Wir sagen uns Dunkles sheds a light on the hidden, enigmatic side that lies within people’s inner depths. While Jiří Kylián explores and questions the line between normality and insanity, Marco Goecke felt inspired by the relationship between Ingeborg Bachmann and Paul Celan to focus on the mysterious and the fragile in human relations. Skew Whiff, the choreography by Paul Lightfoot and Sol Léon, on the other hand, encounters the murky sides of life with a sense of humour.
