Compagnia Naturalis Labor

Compagnia Naturalis Labor from Italy was founded by Luciano Padovani and Francesca Mosele in 1988. On the occasion of the 100th birthday of composer Astor Piazolla, choreographer and artistic director Luciano Padovani and his company created a piece about Piazolla and his music. Dance and tango merge into a single language. Padovani’s imagination goes beyond the accustomed technique and passion of tango and dedicates itself to a subtle exploration of Piazolla’s personality as an artist. He outlines the image of a restless artist who is absorbed by the unreal world of his internal music – a man overwhelmed by his passion, by the notes and by his desire to escape from himself.
