The young author Leo Meier celebrates a utopian, affirmative version of our society and sketches the humorous outline of a world where it is nothing special to ride a dragon to work or for footballers to fall in love with each other.
With zwei herren von real madrid, Leo Meier was invited to the 2022 Heidelberger Stückemarkt, where the play won the audience award and the radio play award.
Director Ronny Jakubaschk, whose work has been repeatedly invited to theatre festivals and won several awards, staged Was ihr wollt (Twelfth Night) at Hanover’s Theaterhof in 2021, and Das Vermächtnis (The Inheritance) by Matthew Lopez (2022) and Der Schimmelreiter (2023) at Schauspiel Hannover.
